About The Role

The Cafe Milano Demi Chef De Partie assists the Chefs in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen and helps maintain a high standard & quality of food preparation.

What You Will Do

  • Prepares and prepares food according to standard procedures, recipe cards, photographs and given instructions.
  • Assists the Chef de Partie to establish standard recipes and ensure the compliance with them.
  • Assists the Restaurant Chef, Sous Chef, Jr. Sous Chef and Chef de Partie in training associates.
  • Participates in product development and in controlling the smooth operation of the kitchen.
  • Ensures food quality, food taste, food presentation and food requisition; and proper sanitation procedures are followed and the kitchen is always clean, neat and tidy.
  • Assists the Restaurant Chef, Sous Chef, Jr. Sous Chef and Chef de Partie in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen and to help maintain a high Standard of food preparation and presentation.
  • Have full knowledge of Four Seasons Food Standards.
  • Demonstrates and maintain at all times a professional behavior and positive attitude.
  • Responds properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
  • Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by Restaurant Chef or Sous Chef.

What You Bring

  • A minimum of at least 2 to 3 years of experience in the similar role in a luxury brand
  • An outgoing personality and a can-do approach to an assigned task
  • High level of understanding and knowledge of food and/or wine
  • Proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing)
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
