Job Description

As a Business Analyst, your role is critical in bridging the gap between IT and business operations, ensuring the successful implementation of technical solutions that meet business needs. You will work closely with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, gathering and analyzing data to help make informed decisions. Your ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into actionable insights will be essential in driving company growth and efficiency. You will support project management efforts, develop strategic recommendations, and ensure that IT solutions align with business objectives. The role demands strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document business requirements effectively.
  • Analyze business processes and workflows to propose improvements and optimizations.
  • Develop detailed project reports and presentations for management review and decision-making.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform business strategies.
  • Facilitate communication between the IT department and business units to ensure mutual understanding.
  • Prepare comprehensive business cases and project plans for new initiatives and projects.
  • Track project progress and prepare regular status reports for stakeholders.
  • Assist in testing and quality assurance processes to confirm solution alignment with business needs.
  • Provide training and support to staff on new systems and processes.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends to anticipate potential business impacts.
  • Monitor and evaluate implemented solutions to ensure they deliver desired outcomes and benefits.
  • Work with data analytics tools to extract insights and measure business performance metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a business analysis or similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to handle complex data sets and derive insights.
  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools such as Microsoft Visio, and project management tools like JIRA.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid understanding of various business processes, project management practices, and IT operations.
