Job Description

The Business Analyst is a vital position within an organization, responsible for analyzing and evaluating the needs of businesses to understand their objectives, determine solutions to business problems, and help in implementing enhancements. This role frequently requires collaboration with executives, stakeholders, IT teams, and other departments to ensure that business needs are met efficiently and effectively. A Business Analyst supports businesses in improving processes, services, and products to meet customer needs and organizational goals. The role demands a strong analytical mind, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage projects from inception to completion, all while maintaining alignment with the strategic ambitions of the organization.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop analytics strategies.
  • Analyze business data to identify trends, patterns, and insights for decision-making.
  • Create detailed business analysis documents, outlining stakeholders, scope, and potential risks.
  • Facilitate communication between business and IT to ensure cohesive goal alignment.
  • Develop project plans, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery of business solutions.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and make recommendations for process improvements.
  • Monitor project progress regularly, providing updates and managing potential risks.
  • Develop and manage reports to measure business performance and success.
  • Work with technical teams to ensure proper implementation of business requirements.
  • Organize user acceptance tests to ascertain final product quality before implementation.
  • Provide ongoing support and training to users regarding new business processes and tools.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies during changes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities are essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency in using analysis and project management tools and software is required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional and fast-paced environment.
  • Certifications such as CBAP or PMP are highly valued and advantageous.
