Job Description

A Bank Teller is responsible for providing excellent customer service while performing various banking transactions. They assist customers with deposits, withdrawals, account inquiries, and other banking services. Bank Tellers also promote bank products and services, handle cash, and ensure the accuracy of transactions.


Responsibilities

  • Process customer transactions, such as deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
  • Assist customers with account inquiries and provide information on bank products and services.
  • Promote and cross-sell bank products to customers.
  • Handle cash and accurately count and balance currency.
  • Verify and validate customer identification for security purposes.
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain and update customer account records.
  • Comply with all bank policies, procedures, and regulations.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of banking products and services.
