As an Auto AC Specialist, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining the air conditioning systems of various kinds of vehicles. This role requires a deep understanding of automotive airflow systems, competent use of specialized diagnostic tools, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Responsibilities

• Diagnose issues with vehicle air conditioning systems utilizing diagnostic tools.
• Conduct routine maintenance on automotive air conditioning systems and components.
• Install new air conditioning systems and retrofit older vehicle models when necessary.
• Perform system repairs, including component replacements and refrigerant recharges.
• Identify and rectify refrigerant leaks using certified equipment and methodologies.
• Communicate with customers to explain required repairs and obtain service approval.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for repairs.
• Manage inventory and ensure appropriate levels of refrigerant and parts are on hand.
• Ensure compliance with environmental standards during the handling of refrigerants.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and repair techniques in AC systems.
• Calibrate and test air conditioning components to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with other automotive specialists to provide comprehensive vehicle service.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certificate is an advantage.
• Proven experience as an automotive AC technician or similar role.
• Strong understanding of AC systems and electronic components in vehicles.
• Ability to work with computerized diagnostic tools and manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in complex tasks.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain issues to customers clearly.
