Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Assistant Sales Manager to join our team and support our organization in driving strategic sales initiatives. As the Assistant Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in assisting the Sales Manager with executing effective strategies and leading the sales team to meet and exceed targets. You will be responsible for developing strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service, and identifying new business opportunities. This role requires someone with excellent leadership skills, a strong sales background, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments. Responsibilities

  • Assist the Sales Manager in developing and deploying sales strategies effectively.
  • Manage, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve predefined goals.
  • Analyze market trends to identify potential opportunities and areas for growth.
  • Foster strong relationships with key accounts to enhance long-term partnerships.
  • Conduct training sessions to improve the skills and performance of the sales team.
  • Oversee the preparation of sales reports and ensure accurate data reporting.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales campaigns with marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate sales meetings and distribute tasks among team members efficiently.
  • Monitor competitors’ activities to identify potential threats and adapt strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  • Assist in resolving customer complaints to maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Handle administrative duties such as budgeting and planning sales promotions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a sales management role, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with proven results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.
  • Ability to analyze sales metrics and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and familiar with CRM systems and practices.
