Job Description

The Assistant Manager - HR Operations plays a critical role in shaping the workplace culture and ensuring the smooth execution of HR processes and strategies within the organization. This position requires a dynamic individual who can manage multiple HR operations tasks, support the development of HR policies, and enhance the efficiency of HR services. The successful candidate will act as a bridge between management and employees, fostering a positive work environment while ensuring compliance with all labor regulations. As an Assistant Manager, you will need to demonstrate leadership capabilities, with the ability to influence and motivate a diverse workforce, driving initiatives that align with the organization’s goals and values.


Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the HR department and resolve employee queries.
  • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and policies.
  • Coordinate recruitment processes, including screenings, interviews, and onboarding procedures.
  • Maintain updated employee records in accordance with corporate policies and legal regulations.
  • Assist with employee performance appraisals, feedback sessions, and career development planning.
  • Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, mitigating potential legal risks.
  • Act as a liaison between management and employees to foster a positive work environment.
  • Oversee payroll operations ensuring timely and accurate compensation for employees.
  • Manage employee benefits programs and address employees' inquiries or issues.
  • Compile and submit required reports on HR metrics and workforce analytics.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making at management and executive levels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR operations or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes, labor laws, and best practices.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and conflict-resolution capabilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with all organizational levels.
  • Proficient in HR software and tools, including payroll systems and databases.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with high confidentiality and discretion.
