Job Description

The Assistant Manager - HR Operations position is a pivotal role within a dynamic organization focused on human resources management. This role is ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a passion for HR processes and employee engagement. The Assistant Manager will work closely with the HR Manager and other departments to ensure the smooth running of HR operations. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing and improving HR practices and procedures, coordinating staff recruitment, managing employee records, processing payroll, and providing support in HR planning and development. This position demands excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and a thorough understanding of HR policies and best practices. Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the HR department, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies in line with industry standards.
  • Coordinate recruitment efforts and manage onboarding processes for new hires.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date employee records and data management.
  • Support payroll processing and resolve any payroll-related queries timely.
  • Facilitate employee engagement initiatives to enhance workplace culture.
  • Monitor and address employee grievances, maintaining harmonious relations.
  • Assist in performance review processes and career development planning.
  • Manage HR-related communications, announcements, and reporting tasks.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify HR needs and support solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and HR regulatory standards.
  • Participate in HR projects aimed at improving departmental efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HR operations or management.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, best practices, and employment laws.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for effective workflow.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite for daily tasks.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
