Job description:

We are urgently seeking a qualified Appointed Person for Lifting Operations (APLO) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing lifting plans, reviewing drawings, and ensuring safe and efficient execution of critical lifting operations.

Responsibilities

Develop and approve lifting plans for routine and critical lifts

Review technical drawings and ensure compliance with safety standards

Supervise and execute lifting operations, particularly during high-risk activities

Coordinate with rigging, crane, and safety teams to ensure smooth operations

Maintain compliance with company HSE policies and industry regulations

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the same role

Certification from an approved training provider

Strong knowledge of lifting operations and safety protocols

Proven ability to plan, manage, and execute critical lifts

Excellent communication and leadership skills
