Job Description
A Research Associate position is available at the Group of Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics at United Arab Emirates University. The appointment is for a duration of one year. The ideal candidate should possess (or be in the process of obtaining) a PhD in physics or in related fields, be highly motivated, and have a solid background in condensed matter physics. The project focuses on the study of hybrid mesoscale system, aiming to explore fundamental issues such as phase coherence, equilibration, charge quantization, and entanglement. The work will involve both analytical and numerical methods. In addition to salary, the position includes funding for attending schools, workshops, and conferences. The review of applications is ongoing, and the position will remain open until filled.
