Position: Manufacturing & Engineering Expert

Type: Contract

Compensation: $70–$110/hour

Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Design realistic, end-to-end engineering workflows for AI model evaluation in manufacturing and engineering.
• Build scenarios across process and operations engineering, including process flow docs, SOPs, and yield analysis.
• Develop scenarios for supply chain and planning, focusing on demand forecasting and inventory analysis.
• Create scenarios in mechanical and industrial engineering, such as CAD modeling and tolerance analysis.
• Evaluate quality and compliance scenarios, including non-conformance reports and ISO/FDA audit prep.
• Work independently and asynchronously to tackle challenging, long-horizon problem sets.
  
  
  

• BS or MS in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering; 3+ years in relevant roles.
• Working fluency in at least two of: CAD (SolidWorks, Fusion, Creo), GD&T, manufacturing processes, Lean / Six Sigma, S&OP, quality systems.
• Comfortable with engineering artifacts: drawings, BOMs, process flows, FMEA, CAPA, inspection protocols.
• Clear written communication; articulate reasoning and decisions step by step.
