Position Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Applied Scientist to join our company. In this role, you will design, create, and implement various Machine Learning and Computer Vision models for Smart Cities and IoT platforms. As a part of Data Science R&D team, you will work closely with an agile team as a champion of users to ensure AI use cases are implemented right. You will work closely with product manager to understand user requirements and translate them into a Machine learning models for developers and Engineers.

Key Responsibilities

· Research, design, develop, implement, and optimize algorithms and software solutions to solve complex computer vision problems

· Create code that is elegant and maintainable

· Take accountability for solutions that are modular and testable. Have pride for building unit and regression testing to prove that your code and solutions truly work.

· Work closely with software engineering and product development teams on tech selections and solutions.

· When necessary, debug, optimize and aspire to make things pixel perfect. Be willing to spend time in making things truly amazing, not just great.

· Comply with QHSE (Quality Health Safety and Environment), Business Continuity, Information Security, Privacy, Risk, Compliance Management, and Governance of Organizations policies, procedures, plans, and related risk assessments.

Qualifications

o Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or other Engineering disciplines in related fields or equivalent work experience.

Experience:

o 5+ years of professional R&D experience in Computer Vision, Digital Image Processing, and/or Machine Learning

Skills:

o Experience in training and evaluating models using TensorFlow and Pytorch

o Experience with training large-scale systems on large data sets

o Fluent in C/C++ and Python with over 4 years of experience

o Track record of shipping working code and solutions based on your contributions

o Team player, ability to perform in cross functional teams and to share knowledge to others

o Good communication skills in English
