Job Description

We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Accounts Associate to join our financial team. As an Accounts Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organization by ensuring that all accounting transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled. You will collaborate with other finance professionals to prepare reports and analyze data to guide informed decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and uphold a commitment to integrity and transparency in all accounting operations. Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate accounts payable and receivable records to ensure timely payments.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports on a monthly basis.
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts regularly to confirm accuracy.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop and implement financial controls and procedures.
  • Manage company’s payroll, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulations.
  • Handle day-to-day financial transactions and document all necessary details accordingly.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting efforts by providing relevant financial data.
  • Support audits both internal and external by providing necessary documentation and insights.
  • Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy.
  • Develop a solid working knowledge of company products, services, and operations.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive financial information and client details.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.
  • Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle preferred.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Great attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and analysis.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
