A Social Media Manager plays a crucial role in any organization looking to maintain a vibrant, interactive online presence. This professional is responsible for developing strategies to increase followers, creating and overseeing social campaigns, producing content, reviewing analytics, and communicating with stakeholders. A Social Media Manager works closely with team members, including designers, marketers, and analysts, to ensure the consistency and effectiveness of social media strategies and messaging. Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies aligning with business goals.
  • Create visually engaging, original content for all social media platforms consistently.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on social media metrics to track success.
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
  • Collaborate with designers to ensure content is informative and appealing.
  • Engage with and respond to comments and messages from followers promptly.
  • Conduct social listening to understand audience preferences and industry trends.
  • Oversee social media accounts’ design and maintain a cohesive strategy.
  • Develop monthly reports on emerging social media trends competitive analyses.
  • Work with brand advocates and influencers to enhance the brand's presence.
  • Manage the organization’s social media advertising budget and campaigns.
  • Coordinate with other departments to manage social media roles and objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
  • Expertise in social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Strong understanding of strategic digital marketing and content creation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and creativity.
  • Ability to deliver creative content and campaigns meeting tight deadlines.
  • Experience with social media analytics and monitoring tools and techniques.
  • Strong multitasking skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools and software applications.
