Mechanic I

Main Purpose of Job:

To maintain efficient operating condition of all machines and equipment in the plant at all times to meet adequately production requirements.

Objectives:

• To improve Line efficiency and performance by implementing CDM maintenance strategy to all equipment and facilities within his responsibilities.
• To help improve operation thru involvement in innovation and renovation initiatives.
• To work in hand in hand with production crew and respond accordingly to immediate needs during operation.
  
  

• Performs routine check-up of all running machines, i.e., belts, bolts, vibration, oil, grease.
• Performs preventive maintenance works such conditioned based & preventive maintenance and lubrication of equipment and facilities.
• Perform breakdown maintenance of all equipment and facilities.
• Checks accuracy of all mechanical weighing scales and calibrates accordingly if there are weight deviation.
• Perform assigned CDM checklist.
• Assists other departments on any maintenance, repair and installation jobs.
• Maintains cleanliness in his work area.
• Works in accordance with accepted safety practices and standards established by the company.
• Reports unsafe conditions and practices to the Supervisor by making suggestions or removal of accident hazards.
• Supports Safety Programs/ Promotions/ Projects as promulgated by Safety Officer and/or Safety Committee.
• Performs other related jobs that may be assigned to him from time to time.
