Sr Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team at Multi Development And Construction Corporation (MDCC). You will lead the endtoend commercial strategy for interior fitout tenders. You will lead cost estimation, tender documentation, subcontractor prequalification, and bid negotiations to secure profitable contracts while maintaining our firms standards for quality and client satisfaction. This full-time position is based in Taguig City, Metro Manila, where you will contribute to the strategic direction and successful delivery of our construction projects.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assist the supervision of the daily activities of the team, in the coaching and mentoring of junior team members, and in providing the proper training to staff for the efficient implementation of the department processes.
• Study the contract, engineering plans, and other related documentations of potential projects to determine the scope of work and all the relevant information that should be considered in the commercial proposal.
• Determine the material requirement of potential projects, estimate and evaluate the quantities and pricing of the Bill of Quantities.
• Request, check and evaluate quotations from vendors and study the historical prices from the latest purchase orders to determine the appropriate pricing for the materials requirement and consumables of potential projects.
• Determine the amount of manpower required for the scope of work and the corresponding labor rates to provide an efficient estimate of the labor cost of potential projects.
• Attend site inspection to determine the requirements for the General Preliminaries of the project.
• Attend clarificatory meeting with the clients
• Advise Director of the department regarding project profile, direct cost and profit margin prior to the negotiation meeting with the client.
• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field
• Must be a Registered Engineer with a recognized professional body or licensing authority.
• 5+ years Quantity Surveying experience, with at least 3 years focused on fitout or interior fitout bidding.
• Proven track record winning fitout contracts across commercial offices, retail spaces, hospitality venues, or highend residential interiors.
• Expertise in preparing BOQs and cost plans using industry tools
