Your Role And Responsibilities

An Application Database Administrator specializes in managing and optimizing databases using products such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, DB2, and Teradata. Their primary responsibilities include installing, configuring, and maintaining databases, ensuring high availability, implementing disaster recovery strategies, and performing performance tuning. This role requires a strong understanding of database concepts, system administration, and programming. By focusing on these key areas, the Application Database Administrator plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation and efficient performance of applications relying on databases.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• The candidate must have 2 years of experience in database administration using MS SQL.
• Has ability to perform MS SQL daily health checks.
• Knowledge of MS SQL failover management.
• Experience in managing MS SQL alerts.
