Position Overview

The Marketing Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of George & Matilda Eyecare’s marketing activities. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners. From in-store campaigns to local marketing opportunities, the Marketing Coordinator ensures all initiatives are delivered seamlessly, on brand, and with maximum impact.

Key Responsibilities

In-store Campaigns & Visual Merchandising (VM)

  • Lead POS execution of national campaigns, from liaising with practices on requirements, to sourcing quotes to ensuring timely delivery
  • Work with supplier partners, collate artwork files required to send to printers
  • Manage digital screen content in line with promotional calendar
  • Manage ad hoc VM requirements, including signage, navigation, display updates, in-store graphics, and structural VM changes.
  • Maintain and update master distribution lists, liaising with newly onboarded practices to determine campaign VM needs.

Internal Communications

  • Manage the Marketing inboxes and respond to practice network queries.
  • Draft and distribute internal newsletters and campaign memos.
  • Coordinate marketing-related internal communication updates to the network.

Local Store Marketing

  • Assist with continued development of the Local Store Marketing tool kit
  • Develop copy and coordinate the creation of campaign assets.
  • Brief marketing team and manage vendor execution as required.
  • Maximise opportunities with shopping centre marketing teams.
  • Coordinate practice team photos & content for marketing use.

VIP Events

  • Coordinate event logistics including supplier liaison, event collateral, and point-of-sale requirements.
  • Brief practice teams and set up event landing pages.

Marketing Portal Management

  • Coordinate development of new collateral with designers and portal managers.
  • Process third-party orders and monitor stock management.

Digital Presence & Online Services

  • Manage Google Business profiles: respond to reviews, review tracking, update profiles, and schedule posts.
  • Optimise online profiles in referral sites
  • Assist with website content management as required

General Support to the Marketing Team

Skills & Attributes

  • Excellent relationship management, communication, negotiation, problem solving and presentation skills.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, specifically leading and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including strong copywriting skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented, with confidence in liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions within the scope of the role.
  • Working knowledge of marketing systems, digital platforms, and vendor coordination.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 2 - 4 years’ experience in a marketing coordination or similar role.
  • Experience managing campaigns, vendors, and marketing communications.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite & Canva.
  • Experience in design briefing and content management systems.
  • Exposure to retail or healthcare environments (desirable).
