Context

SYSTRA Philippines is in need of transport planning professionals with experience in the development of transport infrastructure projects in both local and international setting. The role is expected to perform all tasks necessary to support the consulting activities of SYSTRA Philippines in all existing and future projects, demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in undertaking additional tasks as required by project demands, and ensure the successful execution and delivery of the project objectives.

Missions/Main Duties

• Analyze and interpret data gathered from statistics, surveys and transport studies;
• Plan and manage the conduct of transport/ traffic surveys/ interviews and process data results;
• Assist senior transport modeler consultants in the preparation of transport models;
• Simulate and prepare transport demand forecast scenarios using computer modeling software;
• Analyze and forecast the impact of new and planned developments on a proposed
  
  

• Analyze a proposed transport project’s impact on the overall transport network;
• Prepare technical reports, studies and presentation materials for
  
  

• Participate in the internal planning of technical requirements, budgets and timeliness
  
  

• Initiate and participate in meetings, presentations and site visits/ interviews for data
  
  

• Participate in value methodology workshops, as needed; and
• Perform other related tasks that may be assigned by the manager and/or management.
  
  

• BSc in Civil Engineering major in Transportation Engineering.
• Masters Degree is an advantage.
• Proficient in demand modelling software.
• Proficiency in English.
