SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

Hire Manila is recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing technology company looking for a Software Engineer with experience in data engineering, cloud technologies, and AI-powered solutions.

This role will be part of the data team and will help transform data pipelines, build APIs, develop AI workflows, and contribute to the overall software architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable data pipelines
• Build and maintain APIs and backend services
• Develop AI-powered workflows and automation solutions
• Work with cloud infrastructure and deployment processes
• Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and stakeholders
• Contribute to system architecture and technical decisions
• Support continuous improvement of development processes
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
• 4–8 years of software engineering experience, preferably with exposure to data-focused projects
• Strong experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services
• Experience building applications using Nest.js and Next.js
• Background in data engineering, ETL processes, or data platforms
• Experience developing and consuming APIs
• Understanding of software development best practices
• Strong interest in AI technologies, AI-assisted development, and agentic workflows
