Senior Electrical Engineer

Context

A highly skilled and experienced Sr. Electrical Engineer to oversee the Design and Engineering of Electrical System. This role combines technical expertise with strong leadership, project management, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget. The Sr. Electrical Engineer will be responsible for developing, mentoring, and guiding engineers and support staff to achieve company objectives while ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Missions/Main Duties

• Provide technical leadership and expertise in Electrical engineering.
• Review and approve technical designs, drawings, and documentation to ensure accuracy, feasibility, and compliance with industry codes, standards, and Project requirements.
• Prepares an Electrical & ELV design in various stage such as Schematic, Detailed Engineering Design, Draft Final and Final Design stage.
• Ensures the design are with the compliance of the latest edition of PEC, NEC & other Standards.
• Ensures the design are with the compliance to the design criteria issued by the clients.
• Perform the design using the related software such as Dialux, ETAP, etc.
• Perform the design calculation required to determine the wires/cables, OCPD, cable containment, voltage drop, etc.
• Coordinates and collaborative works are done with the other disciplines to ensure the design consistency requirements across all disciplines.
• Ensures the deliverables are to be submitted on time/parallel to the schedule committed to the client.
• Address the open comments issued by the clients.
• Provide mark up & checking the works made by the Draftsman.
• Assists his or her superior in developing the design.
• Performing other duties as may be required and assigned from time to time.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering with PRC License; PEE is advantage..
• Proven experience (minimum 8 years) in leadership roles overseeing Electrical Engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, Electrical standards, V.E. techniques, and Electrical design principles.
• Proficiency in using engineering and design software (ETAP, Dialux, AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, and other relavant Electrical Design Software).
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, schedules, and budgets effectively.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and inspire team members.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail and quality assurance practices.
• Knowledge of sustainable engineering practices, energy efficiency standards, and regulatory compliance.
