About The Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented
Business Analyst to serve as the vital link between our business stakeholders and our team of report engineers. You will act as the "gatekeeper" and translator, ensuring that incoming reporting requests are clearly defined, prioritized, and delivered on time. You will thrive in this role if you enjoy organizing complex workflows, managing expectations across all levels of the organization, and ensuring technical teams have everything they need to succeed.
- Demand Management & Triage: Receive, review, and sort new reporting requests. Assess the feasibility and clarity of requirements before assigning them to the engineering team.
- Project Governance: Monitor committed project dates and ensure they align with business expectations. Proactively manage risks and communicate potential delays or changes to timelines.
- Skeholder Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders. Facilitate discussions to elicit detailed requirements, challenge assumptions where necessary, and provide updates on project progress.
- Operational Oversight: Follow up with report engineers to ensure tickets, documentation, and project status updates are current, accurate, and aligned with our delivery standards.
- Communication: Translate technical constraints into business-friendly language and business needs into clear technical requirements, ensuring a shared understanding across all parties.

What We’re Looking For
- Required Skills & ExperienceAnalysis: Proven experience working as a Business Analyst, with a strong ability to decompose business problems into actionable requirements.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; you can navigate conversations with stakeholders at all levels of the business, from front-line staff to senior leadership.
- Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage workflows, track deadlines, and handle multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
- Decision Making: A strong track record of making sound, independent decisions in fast-paced environments to keep projects moving forward.
- Desirable Qualifications Methodologies: Professional experience working within Scrum or Agile frameworks.
- Domain Knowledge: Previous experience working as an analyst specifically within a data or business intelligence (BI) team is preferred.
- Technical Literacy: A foundational understanding of data structures, database concepts, and reporting/visualization tools.
