Job Description
The SERVICE ENGINEER Shall Have The Following Qualifications
3+ years hands-on experience
with marine diesel engines (Auxiliary Engines Wartsila / MAN / Yanmar or similar).
Proven Background In Full Engine Overhauls , Including
Cylinder head, piston, liner work
Fuel injection system
Turbocharger handling
Bearing and crankshaft measurements
Ability to read technical manuals and follow overhaul procedures.
Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding abilities.
Must be capable of leading a small team and ensuring safe work practices.
Technical education in mechanical/marine engineering (degree or technical college).
English communication at a level adequate to coordinate with superintendent and vessel crew.
