What are we looking for?

Skills Required

• At least 2 years of experience working as a fraud or payments analyst;
• Experience with and competence in processing a high volume of transactions (hundreds per day) quickly;
• Experience analysing information and accurately summarising conclusions;
• Preferable if you have experience analysing payments for cryptocurrency;
• Fast internet connection (5 Mbps broadband internet connection);
• An inquisitive mind and resourcefulness to be able to conduct investigations;
• Whilst not necessary, candidates who have experience in fast-growing companies or fully remote roles will be preferred.
  
  

To be eligible for this role, you must be available to work night shifts or on

weekends.

What will you do?

As a Junior Fraud Specialist, you will be responsible for analysing transactions made by our customers to ensure these meet our requirements.

Your Day-to-day Responsibilities Will Include

• Reviewing payments in real time to identify indicators of fraud or money laundering;
• Analysing fraud indicators to identify high-risk payments and customers;
• Processing legitimate payments according to internal guidelines;
• Identifying fraud and money-laundering trends;
• Escalating high-risk payments and customers to team leaders for review;
• Providing training and assistance to other new team members when needed; and
• Providing email assistance to customers, banks, and other organisations.
