Concrete Designer AU Construction Hybrid

Salary: P70,000 - P100,000 (Monthly Package)

Schedule: Monday to Friday (08:00 AM-05:00 PM PHT)

What are we looking for?

Skills Required

• Certificate or Diploma in Engineering Drafting/Design, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years’ experience delivering concrete detailing on heavy industrial, mining, or mineral processing projects (preferred).
• Software Proficiency: AutoCAD (3D modelling and 2D detailing essential) Navisworks, AutoCAD Advance Steel, Civil 3D, and BIM/ACC workflows.
• Strong understanding of reinforced concrete detailing, setout methodology, levels/datums, and typical plant foundations and structures.
• Proven ability to interpret engineering design information, mark-ups, sketches, and vendor data within a multi-discipline environment.
• Comfortable managing deadlines, prioritising deliverables, and handling competing tasks in a fast-paced project environment.
• At senior level, capable of providing guidance and mentoring to junior designers.
• Experience working with virtual or remote teams, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
• Willing to work in a hybrid arrangement.
  
  

• Produce accurate, construction-ready concrete drawings for heavy industrial projects, including GA layouts, sections, details, setouts, levels/datums, joints, pours, anchors, embeds, penetrations, openings, and interface details.
• Detail reinforced concrete elements in accordance with engineering design information and mark-ups (no bar bending schedules).
• Detail equipment foundations (e.g. crushers, mills, screens), including dynamic foundation requirements where provided.
• Prepare coordinated drawing packages aligned with project drafting standards, client requirements, and applicable codes.
• Coordinate across disciplines (structural steel, SMP/mechanical, piping, E&I, civils) to resolve clashes and support constructability.
• Review and incorporate vendor equipment GA drawings, including loads, bolt patterns, baseplates, maintenance envelopes, and access requirements.
• Participate in drawing/model reviews, respond to engineering comments, and support internal QA processes.
• Maintain drawing registers, revision control, and document management in line with project requirements.
• Support engineering teams by responding to site and fabrication queries (RFIs) as required.
