Wound Care Specialist

Job Role

You’ll be a field-based clinical expert supporting hospitals, wound clinics, and community partners. You will:

• Drive adoption of Philcare’s advanced wound care portfolio (Axiostat, Maxiocel, Effigerm) across private and DOH-accredited hospitals, outpatient clinics, and community care settings in assigned hospital and/or stand-alone wound clinic accounts.
  
• Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, clinical product demos/in-services, formulary inclusion, trials/evaluations, negotiations, and after-sales support.
  
• Build account plans and KAM strategies with surgeons, wound care nurses, rehab medicine, infectious disease, internal medicine, ER, and procurement stakeholders.
  
• Conduct training sessions and workshops in partnership with the Clinical team; ensure proper product utilization and protocol adherence.
  
• Deliver hands-on bedside support for complex cases (e.g., diabetic foot ulcers, pressure injuries, venous/arterial ulcers, post-surgical wounds).
  
• Track KPIs: revenue growth, account penetration, demand generation activities, and product mix.
  
  
  
  

What We’re Looking For: Must-haves

• 3–7+ years’ success in medical device/pharma sales (wound care, surgical, infection control, ostomy, NPWT, dressings, or related preferred) or Licensed healthcare professional (e.g., RN, MD, PT) with valid PRC registration and 2+ years of direct wound care experience in acute, sub-acute, or community settings.
  
• Strong clinical selling capability; can interpret basic wound assessment, staging, and dressing algorithms.
  
• Confident educator and communicator; comfortable conducting ward rounds and trainings.
  
• Willing to travel within territory; valid driver’s license preferred.
  

What We’re Looking For: Great-to-Have

• Recognized wound certification (e.g., WOCN/WCC/CWCN/ETN or equivalent).
  
• Applicants with proven strong franchise/rapport with wound care practitioners such as nurses, physicians and/or key decision makers in leading hospital-based wound care centers and/or independent wound clinics.
