Tax Head

Responsibilities

• Primary responsible in ensuring compliance with tax requirements for all PH entities.
• Conducts regular meetings with tax team to ensure compliance with tax deadline.
• Performs regular review and cascade of new tax regulations affecting the organization.
• Reviews and recommends resolution of tax audits being conducted by the BIR and LGUs.
• Establishes and leads tax planning procedures to minimize tax exposure and maximize tax benefit.
• Drives collaboration of the Tax Team with other departments to make sure the Company is in compliance with local and national tax laws.
  
  

• At least 10 years total experience in the field of taxation with at least 5 years experience as senior manager;
• CPA;
• With experience working on reputable audit firms doing tax audits strongly preferred;
• Preferably with experience handling shared service/multiple companies;
• Proficient in Excel and is knowledgeable in other Microsoft office tools/software;
• With good communication and leadership skills;
• Updated with latest tax rules/promulgations;
• Has substantial exposure in handling tax assessments of the BIR;
• Has a track record of leading tax planning/restructuring and tax saving initiatives
