QA Engineer Senior Night Shift

The Senior QA Engineer will lead quality assurance efforts across multiple projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. This role involves designing and implementing comprehensive test plans, automating test suites, mentoring junior QA engineers, and collaborating closely with development and product teams to uphold high standards of quality.

Required Skills

What You Will Need:

* 5 years of experience in software quality assurance or software testing.
* Proven experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress, or similar.
* Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
* Proficient in at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
* Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
* Experience testing web applications, APIs, and mobile applications.
* Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
* Ability to write clear and comprehensive test documentation.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Experience with security testing and compliance standards is a plus.

A Day In The Life Typically Includes
* Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for manual and automated testing.
* Lead the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks and continuous integration (CI) pipelines.
* Identify, analyze, and document bugs and issues, working closely with developers to resolve defects.
* Perform various types of testing including functional, regression, performance, security, and usability testing.
* Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, providing technical leadership and knowledge sharing.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and DevOps, to ensure alignment on quality standards.
* Advocate for quality best practices and continuous improvement of QA processes and tools.
* Monitor and report key quality metrics, test coverage, and release readiness.
