Full-time | Remote, Philippines | Sydney business hours | Reports to CEO | Salary up to PHP100,000 per month
Lead an established Philippines finance team and help build a stronger group finance function
Feedwell Group is an established Sydney-based workplace food and B2B distribution group. We comprise of two companies, Feedwell and Snack Proud.
Feedwell is a workplace catering business with its own production kitchen in Sydney CBD and last-mile delivery fleet, serving clients including Google, Amazon, Canva and TikTok.
Snack Proud is a national B2B snacks and pantry distribution business supplying corporate clients across Australia from its central Sydney warehouse.
We already have a Philippines-based team across finance, HR, operations and marketing. In this role you'll lead an existing finance team of three and report directly to the CEO.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys improving systems, building team capability, and creating finance operations that are accurate, timely and scalable.
The opportunity
Feedwell's finance operations are clean and operate on a fast monthly close. Your early focus will be bringing Snack Proud to the same standard: strengthening daily reconciliations, improving the CIN7 Core-to-Xero workflow, removing manual workarounds, and giving the CEO dependable visibility of group performance.
You'll lead and develop a team of three while staying close to the workflows, systems and finance improvements that keep month-end moving.
What You'll Own
The day-to-day finance function across Feedwell and Snack Proud
Leadership, coaching and development of a Philippines-based team of three accountants and bookkeepers.
The month-end close across both entities, owned and run to an agreed timetable
The finance control framework. Approval workflows, segregation of duties, and review of manual journals, write-offs and collections, ensuring no process sits with one person without oversight
The CIN7 Core-to-Xero integration, including ongoing configuration, and the inventory, stock and COGS reconciliation between the two
Accurate and timely customer invoicing across key enterprise accounts, including bespoke consolidation, fee and procurement-portal requirements
AR, AP, payment-run preparation and credit management across both businesses
Payroll and superannuation processes, supported by accurate records and established controls
Accurate daily finance records, reconciliations and supporting schedules for external Australian advisers to prepare and lodge tax, payroll and statutory obligations
Group management reporting, the consolidated driver-based forecasting model, and rolling budgets and cash-flow forecasts
Group EBITDA reporting and the relevant supporting schedules
Continuous improvement across finance processes, systems and automation
Acting as the senior finance point of contact for other departments and key personnel, owning those relationships and attending to ad-hoc requests as needed
Supporting the CEO with finance, reporting and improvement needs as the group scales
What Success Looks Like
Within your first 6 months, you will have:
Built a clear view of the finance workflows, controls and reporting needs across both businesses
Established a reliable month-end close within 4 business days by month 6 with reconciliations and management reporting ready for review
Improved daily reconciliations and inventory-to-GL accuracy
Strengthened the CIN7 Core-to-Xero workflow and configuration, making exceptions easier to identify and resolve
Improved the quality and timeliness of month-end reporting and group consolidation
Put in place a clear finance control framework with no single points of failure
Reduced avoidable manual work through better process design and automation
Developed a capable, accountable finance team that can grow with the group
You'll be a strong match if you can show that you have
Owned and improved a month-end close, not simply contributed to one
Used Xero and CIN7 Core daily to manage inventory, COGS or reconciliation workflows, including integration configuration. CIN7 Core experience is essential for this role
Prepared accurate finance records and supporting schedules for Australian external accountants or advisers, including GST/BAS, payroll and superannuation requirements
Built or maintained finance controls like approval workflows, segregation of duties, review of journals and write-offs
Led, mentored or developed finance team members
Improved a finance process by reducing errors, delay or manual work
Worked successfully in a fast-moving, inventory-led business such as distribution, FMCG, food, wholesale or logistics
Communicated finance issues clearly and constructively with non-finance stakeholders
CPA Philippines or an equivalent accounting qualification, strong spreadsheet skills, experience across multiple entities, and familiarity with procurement portals such as Ariba, Coupa, Corrigo or Ramp will be highly regarded.
You'll enjoy this role if you
See a manual workaround and ask why the system cannot do it better
Are comfortable being the most senior finance person in the room
Like balancing detail, controls and operational pace
Want meaningful influence over how a finance function is run and improved
Are energised by developing people as well as improving systems
What We Offer
A stable, full-time, long-term role with a growing Australian-owned group
Salary package of up to PHP100,000 per month, based on demonstrated fit and experience
13th-month pay
HMO/private health cover
Paid annual and sick leave
Equipment paid for
Direct access to the CEO and real influence over finance systems, controls and operating standards
The opportunity to build a stronger finance function and grow a team as the group scales
100% remote work from the Philippines, aligned with Sydney business hours
A collaborative Philippines-based team, with quarterly in-person team catch-ups and activities
