The Brand Strategy Head creates a strong BPI brand that will be the foundation for a differentiated brand imagery that delights stakeholders, delivered in identified points of presence, whether online or offline, consistent, and conforming to standards, while at the same time creating value for the bank.
Core Responsibilities
Leads the Unibank’s institutional brand strategy, positioning, messaging, and brand standards, from planning, development, implementation across cross-functional teams, evaluation, and reporting, to ensure alignment with BPIs strategic imperatives
Reviews institutional and product campaigns to be aligned with the Bank’s brand promise, proposition and related articulation
Drives the use of consumer research and customer analytics in building and implementing strategy to continuously drive better results
Mentors direct reports and guides them in the execution of their duties, as needed, ensuring that their professional skills are continuously growing, and essentially readying them to occupy his/her position if needed
Manages unit’s expenses against approved budget
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Integrated Marketing Communications, Marketing Management, Advertising, or related course
(Preferred) Master’s Degree in Business Management or Communications
Certifications in Digital Marketing or similar programs
At least 10 years in Brand Management / Brand Strategy
Extensive background in Strategic Planning, Business Strategy, Branding, and Marketing Communications
Experience in the Financial Services industry is an advantage
Deep understanding of branding (value proposition, employer/employee value proposition, corporate culture)
Strong grasp of marketing communication (strategy, insights, brand proposition)
Proficiency in A&P and OPEX management
Leadership across diverse expertise areas
Coaching and mentorship for team development
Data analytics and consumer insights application
Creative execution and project management
Strong presentation skills, especially to senior management
