Position Purpose

FXMM Derivative Back Office is responsible for the day-to-day settlement for Derivative products and Money Market. Team operates in close collaboration with marketers, sales and other internal function teams (APAC & EMEA) to offer client-first post trade services. Team members are generally assigned with two or three Markets.

Responsibilities

• To process payment for Value date and Value date -1, ensure all the payments are cleared.
• To create Manual Payment and able to Authorize High value payment from SWIFT Alliance
• Ensure that all Corporate/Inter-bank trades are processed and approved in a timely manner
• Trade Settlement with onshore/offshore clients
• Review critical control reports for manual settlement or processing.
• Perform EOD reconciliations
• Cash management related with funding trades
• Troubleshoot potential operational problems and resolve issues
• Assist with other staff members in the daily operation requirements
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including traders, sales, and risk management
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and drive operational excellence
  
  

• Must have at least 15 years of total experience in Investment Banking operations, with at least 5 years in FXMM and OTC derivatives
• Expert knowledge on Swift Message Types: MT103, MT202 Payment and MTMX Messages.
• Excellent knowledge of FXMM and OTC derivatives products and processes
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and risk management principles
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Experience with operations technology and systems is a plus
• Bachelors degree in finance, economics, or a related field
