About The Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day financial record-keeping for the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recording transactions, reconciling accounts, preparing journal entries, and maintaining organized financial documentation to support accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Transaction Recording

• Record monthly or quarterly financial transactions accurately in accounting software
• Ensure all entries are properly categorized, coded, and posted in a timely manner
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Record bank deposits, payments, and adjustments
  
  

• Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between records and statements
• Ensure all accounts are balanced and accurately reflect financial activity
  
  

• Prepare and post journal entries including adjusting, accrual, and reclassification entries
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow)
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
  
  

• Maintain organized and accessible financial records, receipts, and supporting documentation
• Ensure proper filing and archiving of invoices, contracts, and financial reports
• Support audit readiness by keeping documentation complete and up to date
• Uphold confidentiality and data security standards for all financial records
  
  

• 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms)
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and the general ledger
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
  
  

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Experience with month-end and year-end close processes
• Familiarity with payroll processing and tax filing support
  
  

• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Integrity and discretion when handling financial data
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  
  

• Hired staff is required to have a stable and reliable internet connection with at least 20MBPS for both download AND upload speed
• Must work Night Shift from 10PM to 7AM PHT
• Equipment will be provided by the company
