E Commerce Accounting Assistant

What You Will Do

• Financial Data Entry:
• You will be responsible for accurately recording financial transactions related to online sales, refunds, and payments into the accounting system.
• Reconciliation:
• Perform regular reconciliations of online sales records with payment processor reports to ensure accuracy.
• Expense Tracking:
• Track and categorize expenses related to e-commerce operations, including advertising costs, shipping fees, and technology expenses.
• Accounts Receivable:
• Monitor and manage accounts receivable, ensuring that customers' online payments are processed promptly and accurately.
• Inventory Management:
• Assist in maintaining accurate records of inventory levels for online products and updating these records as new stock arrives or is sold.
• Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies, especially as they relate to e-commerce transactions.
• Communication:
• Collaborate with other departments, including the e-commerce team and finance department, to resolve financial discrepancies and provide support.
