Job Description

The Salesforce Developer will be in charge of design, development, testing, and change management. Drive highly visible Salesforce initiatives across the organization including building applications on the Salesforce platform and supporting integrations with Salesforce. The incumbent will also be responsible for analyzing project objectives, creating customer workflows, and troubleshooting errors.

Broad Responsibility Highlights

  • Core Development & Support (Regular/Periodic) Mandatory MOP for Code Changes

"A Method of Procedure (MOP) must be created, reviewed, and approved BEFORE any deployment involving code changes (Apex, LWC, triggers, etc.). MOPs must include: purpose, step-by-step deployment plan, rollback procedure, success criteria, and peer sign-off. Configuration-only changes do not require MOP unless specified by the Technical Lead."

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce applications (Apex, LWC, Flows, SOQL).
  • Handle development support tickets — analyze, debug, and resolve technical issues reported by QA, Admins, or internal teams.
  • Perform internal testing (unit, integration, regression) — not user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Troubleshoot and fix bugs in development, staging, and production environments.
  • Maintain platform stability, performance, and code quality — without handling credentials or access keys.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation: code comments, architecture diagrams, MOPs, deployment guides.
  • Collaborate with Technical Lead, QA, and Salesforce Admins to ensure smooth delivery and environment readiness.
  • Strategic & Growth Responsibilities (As Needed)
  • Assist in planning application upgrades, sandbox refreshes, and release cycles.
  • Recommend automation, optimization, or architectural improvements.
  • Learn and develop on new platforms or technologies (e.g., JavaScript frameworks, cloud services, data tools, CI/CD pipelines) as assigned by business or Technical Lead to support digital transformation.
  • Contribute ideas for innovation and process improvement within the development lifecycle.

  • Proficiency in authoring technical documentation, including deployment procedures (e.g., Methods of Procedure (MOPs), runbooks).
  • Technical Skills:

Proficiency in the Salesforce technology stack, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, and Flows.
