Job Description

Systems & Network Administration

  • Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot network equipment including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs to ensure secure, reliable connectivity across all company sites.
  • Provide Tier 3 support for global helpdesk escalations, resolving complex workstation, server, and application issues for both onsite and remote staff.
  • Oversee global Windows, Linux, and UNIX environments, including user management, system updates, storage administration, and virtualization platforms such as VMware or Xen.
  • Continuously track the health of the global network monitoring availability, latency, and throughput and respond quickly to outages or performance problems.
  • Lead or assist in deploying new IT initiatives, infrastructure enhancements, and security projects for the Philippines office and other locations.


Facilities & Operations Leadership

  • Serve as the primary facilities and site lead for the Makati office, fostering a professional, collaborative, and high‑performance work environment.
  • Translate corporate values into daily office practices by reinforcing a positive, inclusive, and accountable workplace culture.
  • Deliver consistent reports to corporate leadership on office operations, including performance metrics, morale, space use, safety, and vendor management, serving as the main voice for Makati-related facility matters.
  • Develop and recommend a strategic facilities plan covering space design, seating, expansion or consolidation, amenities, ergonomics, visitor experience, and security to align with corporate and IT requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize facilities and operations, including cost efficiency, vendor performance, office layout, equipment lifecycle, energy use, and sustainability, and execute approved improvements.
  • Collaborate closely with local managers and corporate teams to maintain high standards, ensure clear communication, and manage timely escalation and resolution of site-wide issues.


Vendor Management

  • Manage relationships with facility-related vendors and service providers such as building management, security, cleaning, maintenance, utilities, and office supply partners from selection and contracts to service levels and performance assessments.
  • Ensure all vendors adhere to quality, safety, and compliance standards, and take proactive action to resolve any recurring concerns.


Employee Experience & Office Environment

  • Maintain and enforce office policies and standards, including access control, visitor procedures, conference room usage, cleanliness, signage, and health and safety guidelines.
  • Partner with HR, IT leadership, and local managers to cultivate an environment that supports employee engagement, productivity, and retention, providing structured feedback based on observations and employee input.
  • Lead or support office-wide events such as all-hands meetings, client visits, team-building activities, town halls, and volunteer programs ensuring smooth coordination across both facilities and IT.


Smart Hands / Onsite Operational Support

  • Act as onsite technical hands for IT and engineering teams, assisting with hardware installations, equipment moves, basic troubleshooting, and coordination of local resources.
  • Support data center, lab, and network room operations at the Makati site, including physical installation work, cabling, labeling, and adherence to security and safety protocols.
  • Deliver timely and high-quality onsite technical support that complements broader systems and network administration responsibilities.


The Successful Applicant

  • Possesses strong technical expertise in server and storage administration (ideally with platforms like TrueNAS or comparable systems), core networking concepts such as switching, routing, VLANs, VPNs, Wi‑Fi, and firewalls, as well as system monitoring, patch management, and security best practices.
  • Shows excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, confidently representing the Makati office to corporate leadership while clearly conveying expectations to local teams and vendors.
  • Demonstrates a proactive leadership style and strong sense of ownership, comfortably proposing improvements, escalating issues when needed, and ensuring initiatives are successfully completed.
  • Exhibits strong organizational and vendor management capabilities, effectively managing contracts, service-level agreements, and multiple operational responsibilities at once.
  • Brings a service‑driven mindset focused on cultivating a positive workplace culture, with a genuine commitment to maintaining a secure, reliable, and employee‑friendly IT environment.
  • Able to work onsite five days a week, with flexibility to adjust work hours when required for global collaboration, maintenance activities, or urgent incidents.
