What The Day Will Look Like
- Ensure operational excellence in the delivery of claims services to clients. This include providing timely and accurate response to claims enquiries/matters.
- Collect documents/information (where appropriate) for carriers to adjudicate claims assessment, basic checking/investigation for contestable/complicated claims should there be any disputes.
- Perform assessment of claims, liaise with carriers and support claims negotiation and settlement with the objective of fair and expeditious settlement of claims.
- Actively follow up on claims with clients/carriers to ensure prompt, fair and reasonable settlement from carriers.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders involved in the process - Account Managers/Servicers and other colleagues within Aon to ensure seamless process.
- And any other roles and responsibilities that may be assigned to you from time to time
- This position will report to Senior Claims Manager located in Singapore, as part of our global/regional team and is responsible for servicing and adjudicating insurance claims for our Singapore client base while ensuring alignment with local policies and procedures.
Skills That Leads To Success
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in relevant fields.
- At least 5 years of experience in the health insurance claims servicing area
- Independent, proactive, efficient
- Meticulous, high attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective problem solving and critical thinking
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
- Pleasant and positive personality, adaptable to changes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- A strong team player
