Pipeline / Welding & NDT Inspector

Industry: Oil & Gas

Employment Type: Project-Based

Responsibilities

  • Inspect pipeline welding and NDT activities in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Verify welding procedures, welder qualifications, fit-ups, weld quality, and NDT reports.
  • Witness RT, UT, MT, PT, and VT examinations.
  • Review quality records, identify non-conformances, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

Qualifications

  • 3-Year Diploma or 4-Year Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Diploma Holders: Minimum 12 years QA/QC experience in Pipeline, Welding & NDT, including 8 years in Oil & Gas.
  • Bachelor's Degree Holders: Minimum 10 years QA/QC experience in Pipeline, Welding & NDT, including 6 years in Oil & Gas.
  • Valid CSWIP 3.1, AWS CWI, or equivalent certification.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant inspection experience after certification.
  • Strong knowledge of welding inspection, NDT methods, WPS, PQR, WPQ, and pipeline construction.
  • Must possess a valid passport and be willing to travel for international project assignments.

Preferred: Experience in pipeline, refinery, petrochemical, EPC, or oil & gas construction projects.
