Inspector – Coating & Painting
Industry: Oil & Gas
Employment Type: Project-Based
Responsibilities
- Perform inspection of coating, painting, insulation, and corrosion protection activities.
- Monitor surface preparation, blasting, coating application, and insulation installation works.
- Conduct coating inspections including DFT, WFT, adhesion testing, holiday testing, and environmental checks.
- Inspect and verify 3LPE (Three-Layer Polyethylene) coating systems for pipeline projects.
- Review inspection reports, material certificates, and QA/QC documentation.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality requirements, and international standards.
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Diploma Holders: Minimum 12 years of industrial QA/QC experience in 3LPE Coating Systems, Coating, Painting, and Insulation.
- Bachelor's Degree Holders: Minimum 10 years of industrial QA/QC experience in Coating, Painting, and Insulation within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Valid BGAS Grade 2 or NACE Level 2 Coating Inspector Certification.
- Strong knowledge of surface preparation, coating application, corrosion protection, insulation systems, and pipeline coating inspections.
- Experience with Oil & Gas, refinery, petrochemical, or pipeline projects is preferred.
- Must possess a valid passport and be willing to travel for international project assignments.
