Job Description

The role leads the energy management function across STT GDC Philippines' data centers to drive continuous improvement in overall energy performance.

Key Focus Areas Include

Standards & Compliance: Spearheading the implementation of ISO 50001:2018 and ensuring strict adherence to energy operational controls and regulatory requirements (DOE, ERC, PSALM, and IEMOP).

Cost & Efficiency Optimization: Directing team initiatives to reduce energy consumption, lower power costs, and optimize Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE).

Strategic Projects: Executing projects designed to improve load factor, system reliability, and operational efficiency.

To lead the energy management function in ensuring that operational controls in Energy are managed and sustained that would lead to a continual improvement in energy performance across STT GDC Philippines' data centers. This includes leading the implementation of ISO 50001:2018 and ensuring the strict implementation of operational controls in compliance with the requirements of the energy management system. Lead the energy management team activities in devising ways to lower power costs, optimize Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE), and reduce consumption across all Data Center Operations. Comply with Legal and Regulatory requirements/permits for Energy from DOE, ERC, PSALM and IEMOP. Works on projects that will enhance load factor, lower power costs and both operational efficiency and reliability.
