Project Management

  • Able to do reports for the consumption of the project architect/project manager, and/or partners.
  • Establish budgeting and monitoring man hours
  • Faithfully translate concepts provided by Partners
  • Able to coordinate with the engineers, discuss options, discuss issues and to coordinate ones design/drawings to effectively create a coherent, efficient and coordinated set of drawings
  • Able to manage architects below ones grade and the designers to effectively orchestrate the necessary works needed to complete the task at hand in collaboration with the Project architect/Project Manager/or partners
  • Able to coordinate with suppliers, vendors, engineers, owners representatives for the completion of a project as needed. Particularly that of vendor and suppliers specifications to be incorporated into the specifications
  • Able to meet deadlines/commitments/schedules
  • Support the design and technical team

People Management

  • Able to command the respect of the designers below his level, by showing good and proper conduct, showing respect and to be able to work and direct activities related to the design work as needed.
  • Able to command the respect of the engineers, by showing good and proper conduct, showing respect and to be able to work and direct activities related to the design work as needed and to show that one is in command of the design/design concept.
  • Able to supervise the works of the people under the team within a given time and budget. To be able to teach ones group on the design and construction issues of a project so they learn.
  • Able to delegate work to designers and focus on design management

Client Management

  • Able to present concepts and ideas thru floor plans, perspectives and other means to convey the design idea to clients as needed with the direction of the project architect/project manager, and/or partners.
  • Able to discuss with clients parameters related to the design, design changes as needed and effectively explain the necessity of it as required.
  • Create a healthy relationship with the Client as ambassadors of 260 Inc
  • Arrive on time at meetings, submit on time per project schedule

Self Management

  • Honest, organized, creative, able to think out of the box, know how to organize ones thoughts and explain to the project team/project architect/project manager, and/or partners ones idea
  • Willing to take constructive critiques, and to re-work designs as needed as directed by ones direct supervisor
  • Self-motivated, able to look beyond what is needed to do and accomplish a task.
  • Able to work with peers and supervisors harmoniously, creatively with a spirit of service to the profession and the company.
  • Able to create internal deadlines to be able to meet project schedules and convey and follow this for the team and management.
  • Licensed architect with 10+ years of experience in the field
  • Proven work experience doing design work and its implementation in an Architectural firm
  • Knows QA and QC
  • Attention to details and accuracy
  • Has the ability to communicate and write in English proficiently
  • Has superior knowledge of Autodesk software, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office programs
  • Has experience using other architectural software such as Autocad, Sketchup, Lumion, BIM/Revit
