Junior Azure Cloud Engineer Dumaguete Office - Onsite

Required Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• Basic understanding of Azure cloud concepts and services.

• Familiarity with scripting (Powershell, Bash).

• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls).

• Exposure to Windows/Linux environments.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

• Good English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Azure certifications (AZ-900, AZ-104).

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates).

• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps concepts.

• Understanding of monitoring tools and incident management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure cloud services and infrastructure.

• Support automation of deployments using tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Azure CLI.

• Monitor resource utilization and optimize for performance and cost-efficiency.

• Implement security controls, compliance measures, and best practices.

• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud service incidents, including log analysis.

• Assist monitoring teams in resolving alerts from SCOM, LogicMonitor, or similar tools.

• Provide technical support for cloud-based business applications.

• Collaborate with Cloud Engineering teams on projects and issue resolutions.

• Document technical procedures, configurations, and system updates.

• Participate in disaster recovery planning and backup strategies.

• Assist in network configuration (VNet, HSGs, VPNs, ExpressRoute).

• Support identity and access management (Azure AD, RBAC).

• Contribute to DevOps pipelines and CI/CD processes.

• Stay updated on Azure services, certifications, and emerging technologies.
