Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure optimal functioning and performance.
• Manage and supervise the warehouse personnel, including hiring and training staff.
• Develop and implement effective inventory control procedures to prevent losses.
• Ensure that shipments are processed promptly and accurately for all inbound and outbound stock.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and document any inventory discrepancies thoroughly.
• Coordinate with transportation companies and logistics teams to schedule deliveries and shipments.
• Ensure that safety protocols are strictly followed to promote a safe working environment.
• Analyze warehouse productivity data and identify areas for improvement or optimization.
• Prepare and submit regular reports to senior management on warehouse performance metrics.
• Implement cost-saving measures without compromising the efficiency of warehouse operations.
• Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to manage stock levels effectively.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws regarding warehouse operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a lead position.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management software and inventory management systems.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
• Strong analytical skills to assess operational performance and recommend improvements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear reporting and instructions.
