Leadership - Lead/mentor/train/Guide other facilities Staff (technicians, contingents, contractors, etc.) to improve on their technical expertise, process knowledge & improvement, specs documentation and others. Conduct periodic performance reviews as needed.
Facilities management - Develop and implement short to midterm term facilities plans to incorporate the business plan in a cost-effective manner. Interact with internal customers to define requirements and scope of job orders issued. Develop costs structures, job schedules, and progress monitoring for construction and renovation jobs under JOs. Direct and coordinate the efforts of any third-party contractor and ensure compliance with site/company rules, including EHS protocol.
Equipment maintenance - Develop and implement an effective Preventive and Predictive maintenance plan for all Facilities equipment and machineries. Establish maintenance programs, procedures, schedules, audits and record keeping for maintenance and repair of facility related equipment. Establish maintenance programs, procedures, schedules, systems and metrics to monitor and evaluate system performance.
Business management - Initiate continuous improvement programs and activities. Support to ensure that the Department’s and Operating Expenses are within budget/forecast. Initiate cost savings and cost reduction initiatives to align department expenses with approved budgets. Review and assess special projects for equipment and maintenance improvement with the Facilities Manager.
Environmental, health & safety - Maintain a clean and safe manufacturing plant in compliance with the company and government’s EHS rules, procedures and regulations. Responsible for continuous improvement and instilling a sense of pride and personal responsibility in the workforce for EHS performance and maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment.
Equipment transfer - support production equipment facilities requirements, work closely with other department such as planning, engineering and production to sustain customer requirements and complete on or before the required date.
Continuous improvement -Initiate plant facilities performance improvement (Machine uptime, 100% Utility supply availability, overhead cost, others), make the equipment user friendly to minimize equipment breakdown and extend ‘serviceable life’.
Education & Experience
Minimum of three (3) years of facilities work in a semiconductor operations environment.
At least two (2) years in Facilities Engineering or Equipment Maintenance and supervisory experience.
Knowledge, skills and experience in ISO 50001 standard, Energy Management, Project Management, Lean Manufacturing and other Problem-solving tools and technique.
Experience in managing upwards and laterally throughout a business organization and working within a multi-national organization is considered a plus.
