The Role

The WFO Data Automation Analyst builds automated pipelines that collect, organize, and process both structured and unstructured data to support reporting, insights, and leadership visibility. Reporting to the Workforce Operations Manager, this role improves the efficiency and consistency of organizational reporting by automating core data processes. This is a full-time (40h/week), salaried, remote position working Monday to Friday, preferably in the CST or EST time zone.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain automated data pipelines using Python.
  • Integrate data from various systems through programmable interfaces such as REST APIs.
  • Design automated reporting workflows that eliminate manual processes.
  • Structure, validate, and prepare datasets for dashboards, leadership reporting, and insights.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and enhance their reliability and clarity.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to understand reporting needs and translate them into automated solutions.
  • Document scripts, workflows, and pipeline architecture for long-term scalability and maintenance.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
  • Some travel (<5%) may be required with advance notice provided.

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years demonstrated professional experience with Python for data processing and automation required, including experience deploying Python workflows with cloud-based schedulers or automation frameworks.
    • 3+ years of experience in reporting or analytics within a business operations or cross-functional environment required.
    • Experience working with REST APIs or similar programmable interfaces.
    • Comprehensive understanding of ETL concepts, automation principles, and data organization methods.
    • 3+ years of demonstrated professional experience developing automated workflows in cloud or virtual environments (Azure strongly preferred); strong analytical curiosity and ownership of complex workflows.
    • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills for supplemental validation.
    • Familiarity with visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau for consuming automated datasets.
    • Experience with version control tools such as Git.
    • Exposure to machine learning and LLMs a plus.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; adaptability in fast-paced environments.
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English required, including the ability to simplify and document technical processes clearly and communicate efficiently with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Automation-first mindset and high attention to detail and accuracy required.

    Physical Requirements

    • Must be able to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
    • This role involves sitting most of the time but may also involve moving for brief periods of time.
