Summary: As an Application Developer, you will engage in the design, construction, and configuration of applications tailored to fulfill specific business processes and application requirements. Your typical day will involve collaborating with team members, analyzing user needs, and implementing solutions that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness within the organization. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and optimizing existing applications to ensure they meet the evolving demands of the business. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure high-quality deliverables. - Maintain documentation of application processes and updates for future reference. - Provide training and support to end-users to facilitate smooth adoption of new applications. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in IBM System i (AS/400) RPG IV. - Strong understanding of application development methodologies and best practices. - Experience with database management and SQL for data manipulation. - Familiarity with system integration techniques and tools. - Ability to analyze and optimize application performance. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in IBM System i (AS/400) RPG IV. - This position is based at our Manila office.
