Job Overview

You’ll play a pivotal role in managing the financial operations during a critical business transition. This position offers the unique opportunity to work directly with an experienced entrepreneur who values results over rigid processes, giving you the flexibility to manage your schedule while ensuring accurate, timely financial management across multiple business scenarios.


Job Highlights

Hourly Rate: The equivalent of $6.30 USD per hour in the applicant’s local currency

Schedule: Mon–Fri, 1:00 AM–5:00 PM or 8 am -12 PM EST

Work Arrangement: Work from home

Contract: Independent Contractor


Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an “Independent Contractor,” the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.


Responsibilities

  • Record daily sales transactions and categorize business expenses across multiple entities
  • Process and track accounts receivable from closing business operations
  • Manage comprehensive payroll processing including taxes and insurance obligations
  • Handle office expense tracking and vendor payment coordination
  • Process sales commissions and joint venture partnership payments
  • Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks
  • Prepare basic financial reports to support business decision-making
  • Organize financial records for seamless handoff to accounting agency
  • Support the transition of financial operations between business entities
  • Maintain accurate books during rapid business expansion phase


Requirements

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software (non-negotiable)
  • Proven experience with payroll processing and compliance requirements
  • Strong attention to detail for managing multiple revenue streams and business entities
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during urgent timelines
  • Experience with accounts receivable management and collections
  • Bonus if you have experience with commission structures and partnership payments
  • It helps if you’re comfortable working in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments
