Performance Marketing Assistant

About the Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, data-loving, and driven individual to join our growing marketing team. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn the ins and outs of digital and performance marketing—someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, is curious by nature, and wants to make a measurable impact.

Job Highlights

• Hourly Rate: USD 4.67, the equivalent in your local currency
• Paid Hours per Week: 40
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5 pm (with 1 hour unpaid break)
• Work Arrangement: Work from home
• Contract: Independent Contractor

Side note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.

What You’ll Do

Every subject matter expert focuses on 5–7 key areas of responsibility. For this position, you can expect to:

• Partner with senior digital marketers to support client campaigns across SEO, social media, email marketing, and overall marketing strategy.
• Build email campaigns using platforms such as Mailchimp or Constant Contact.
• Post and schedule social media content, ensuring brand consistency, engagement, and alignment with campaign goals.
• Manage website page creation in WordPress, including creating new pages and optimizing content using Elementor. Follow existing templates and brand guidelines to maintain design consistency.
• Monitor and update Google Business Profiles to support local SEO and enhance online visibility.
• Work with internal marketing partners for link building, citations, and technical SEO.
• Conduct market research and gather data to inform marketing strategies and identify performance trends.
• Proactively communicate issues or roadblocks to ensure projects stay on track and clients receive high-quality deliverables.
• Continuously learn and grow, seizing opportunities to expand your digital marketing skill set.

What You’ll Bring

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, PR, Journalism, Business, or a related field
• Previous work experience (including internships, part-time, or summer jobs) that demonstrates accountability and initiative
• 1+ year of experience working with WordPress (preferably using Elementor)
• Experience using Mailchimp or Constant Contact for email marketing campaigns
• Experience in posting and managing content on social media platforms
• Familiarity with Google Business Profile management

Preferred Qualifications:

• Internship or experience in a marketing agency, or in a service-based business
• Hands-on experience in digital marketing across SEO, Websites, or content marketing
