Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks following standard recipes.
• Operate coffee-making equipment with attentiveness and professional skill.
• Deliver excellent customer service to all patrons, ensuring repeat visits.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café and coffee preparation areas.
• Educate customers on coffee drinks and make recommendations based on preferences.
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or supply needs to management.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and quality standards.
• Assist in developing new recipes and coffee beverages for the menu.
• Handle cash transactions and process customer payments accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming environment in the café.
• Participate in training sessions to improve coffee-making skills and product knowledge.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve any service issues effectively.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Barista or in a customer service role preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
• Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and an enthusiasm for coffee culture.
• Flexibility in working shifts, including weekends and holidays, is required.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean workspace.
• POS and cash handling experience is highly desirable for transaction processing.
