Loyalty And Direct Marketing Manager Klaviyo

The Loyalty and Direct Marketing Manager is a Klaviyo expert, responsible for our loyalty programs in Australia and USA and email and SMS marketing to engage and retain customers across both markets. The role focuses on fostering customer loyalty, driving repeat business, and maximizing the lifetime value of customers through targeted email communications and rewards.

Your strategic thinking, data-driven approach, and creative flair will be crucial in driving customer loyalty and engagement through well executed email marketing campaigns and loyalty initiatives.

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Sydney time with 1 hour unpaid lunch (40 hrs per week)

The five key areas are:

• Hands-on Klaviyo and lifecycle marketing experience, including building and optimizing flows, segmentation and deliverability.
• Strong email strategy and commercial thinking - not just campaign execution.
• Experience marketing high-consideration products where customers may take days or weeks to purchase.
• Confidence using data and A/B testing to identify and improve performance.
• Strong ownership, organization and customer/creative instincts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement customer loyalty strategies and programs to increase
• customer retention and repeat purchases.
• Analyze customer data to identify trends, preferences, and opportunities for
• improving loyalty initiatives.
• Plan and execute email marketing campaigns aligned with overall marketing
• Create compelling and engaging email content, including newsletters, promotional
• offers, event invitations, and product updates. objectives, product launches, and seasonal promotions.
• Develop retention-focused communications to nurture long-term relationships with
• customers.
• Ensure compliance with relevant data protection and email marketing regulations
• (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM Act).
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and trends in loyalty programs and email
• marketing.
• Strategically integrates AI solutions across various team functions to optimize
• processes, improve resource allocation, and drive measurable improvements in
• operational performance.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience using Klaviyo is required, as it is the team's primary email marketing platform.
• 4+ years of experience in Email marketing, Marketing automation, Customer retention, Loyalty programs
• Proven experience managing end-to-end email marketing campaigns.
• Excellent written communication and copywriting skills.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
• Creative mindset and ability to think outside the box.
• Understanding of customer behavior and segmentation strategies.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Team player with excellent cross department collaboration and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with customer service platforms (e.g., Freshdesk) is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS for email template customization is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
