Job Title: HubSpot Engineer

Location: Remote (PST Time Zone )

Salary Range: 2500 – 3500 USD/month (depending on experience)

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Flexible working hours with some overlap in U.S. business hours (PST)

About the Company:

Sagan represents a fast-growing, U.S.-based B2B company focused on streamlining operations across multiple departments—including Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success—through scalable systems. The team operates across multiple markets and time zones and is looking to mature its internal HubSpot environment with a reliable, proactive technical lead.

Position Overview:

We’re looking for a skilled HubSpot Engineer to take full ownership of the technical administration and implementation of HubSpot across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, understands business needs, and can translate those into practical and efficient HubSpot solutions. While the role is primarily executional, you’ll be expected to think cross-functionally, maintain system integrity, and proactively recommend improvements based on the company’s evolving objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and optimize HubSpot across Sales Hub, Marketing Hub, and Service Hub.
• Implement lead scoring models, lead routing rules, and sales automation workflows.
• Create custom dashboards and reports for Sales, Marketing, and CS teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity and sync issues.
• Execute lifecycle and lead nurturing workflows, including A/B testing.
• Conduct system clean-up projects: data hygiene, deduplication, and field management.
• Enable ticketing, feedback collection, and multi-market visibility for Customer Success.
• Act as internal SME for marketing automation tools and campaign implementation.
• Support multi-market operations (U.S. cities + international CS team).
• Implement third-party integrations via HubSpot’s API, Zapier, or Make.
• Proactively monitor system usage, flag conflicts, and recommend improvements.

Qualifications:

• 3–5+ years of hands-on HubSpot administration experience across multiple hubs.
• Strong understanding of B2B workflows, ideally in SaaS or service businesses.
• Familiarity with HubSpot integrations using REST APIs (no custom coding required).
• Demonstrated ability to manage CRM data structures and maintain data integrity.
• Experience with A/B testing, lifecycle automation, and lead nurturing campaigns.
• Capable of auditing and improving inherited HubSpot environments.
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Self-starter who uses HubSpot documentation, Academy, and community resources.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience working with outbound/GTM tools such as Clay, Apollo, or Hey Reach.
• Familiarity with prospecting workflows and multi-channel campaign design.
• Understanding of email deliverability and domain management.
• Experience in environments using a custom internal platform (e.g., Stockton).
• Knowledge of multi-market HubSpot configuration and reporting.
